Rose Beauty & Training, established in 2019 originally as ‘Beauty By Mel’, has grown massively over the years from hard work and self investment. When I first opened ‘Beauty By Mel’ I was a 14 year old MUA who loved being creative and painting clients faces, making them feel good about themselves. Then due to covid everyone learnt how to do makeup themselves and all MUAs took a hit, following that I did my first Lash Extensions training course in 2020 falling in love with it straight away and working from my bedroom offering Lash Extensions & Makeup. Fast forward to 2022 (a huge growth year for my business) I started renting a room in my first salon, trained in more services such as LVL/Brow Lam/Wax & Tint, was starting to get fully booked most weeks and ended the year being a finalist for The Lash Awards 2022. In 2024 I started the year by enrolling onto a PMU training course and having a re brand- Rose Beauty, this is named after my nan who paid for my first MUA course and Lash course who sadly passed away at the beginning of 2024. She started my business off by investing into me and pushing me to grow, so I wasn’t stopping there! I decided I was going to make 2025 the year of self investment and growth, so towards the end of 2024 after receiving an award for MHBA Top 10 Lash Technician of the year now was the perfect time to jump into education. So far for 2025 I have enrolled onto 2 masterclasses for PMU, upgraded all my products to the highest quality, joined a gorgeous new salon and invested into creating the perfect work/training space, and completed my education training so I can now offer the highest quality education. I want to change the way new learners are taught, not only by teaching the practical skills but the skills of actually running a business, something I had to learn by myself. There is no gatekeeping- everything I know, I teach, to give you the best chance at creating your own successful business, and creating my training courses so they are accessible to all by offering online training at affordable prices with full knowledge and help.
